I positively LOVE this species, there’s so much creative freedom within it :D Anyway, this is Azazeal! Her full name is Azazeal Koszmar (a-ZAAZ-ay-al KOSH-maar). She/They, no preference Lesbian 27 years of age 6’5” (tall girlie) Azazeal has the ability to inflict nightmarish hallucinations of the affected chosen. Unfortunately, she has no ability to give peaceful or helpful hallucinations, only ones that trigger fear or terror. This tends to leave a mark on her, as creating such horrific images with only her mind leave her with gruesome nightmares that cause her to not really sleep that well. These hallucinations can include the sensation of pain when there is none, auditory hallucinations (such as voices in your head), the feeling of being watched, or actual visions or sights that you see but no one else can. These hallucinations can possibly leave a person mentally crippled and/or traumatized, depending on the severity of the hallucinations and what they contain. This can vary from simple nightmares and PTSD to psychosis, paranoia, or other severe mental disorders that could land you in a psychiatric hospital. This is rare, as Azazeal mostly uses her powers to simply scare people away, not traumatize them for life. While she is using this ability, her irises and pupils expand, and her sclera darkens to a near pitch black (note that it’s not quite black! It’s a very dark grey-navy). She has a scar on her right hand, as if she’d slit her palm. She wears fingerless gloves to hide it. The bandages on her face are from injuries she’s accidentally inflicted on herself due to nightmares. She loves nighttime and the moon. She’s also quite aloof and solitary. She doesn’t always use her powers to do evil or harm - sometimes she does it to chase people away and leave her alone. This is why not /all/ of her hallucinations leave people with long-term psychological effects.
