((may be outdated)) We the people of the SOSC, in order to create a better community, establish justice, ensure no inappropriate content and comments, provide for the common good, and secure the blessings of hope to us and the future SOSCers, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the SOSC. ARTICLE 1 All manager Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the SOSC which shall consist of Studio Hosts, Manager Council, and House of Curators. The House of Curators, the largest portion of the community, consist of all curators of the community’s studios and are entitled to several rights given to them by the Studio Hosts. The Council shall consist of all managers of the studios. They shall enforce all laws of the studio, punish those who break said laws, elect new Studio Hosts, and advise the Studio Host on what actions to take. The Studio Hosts are the hosts of the community’s studios and execute actions based on the Council’s recommendations. ARTICLE 2 All moderation power is vested to the people with the Report button. Every person in the Scratch Object Show Community shall have the power to report comments and content which break the Scratch Terms Of Service and Community Guidelines using the report button, which reports the inappropriate content to the Scratch Team (ST). ARTICLE 3 Managers are to remove curatorship from those whom violate studio rules. Members of the Council have the responsibility to remove any person from the community. They shall also warn the Studio Hosts of managers who violate studio rules and advise them to demote said manager. ARTICLE 4 The people of the SOSC are to not talk about topics that may get the studio taken down. Topics that are against the Scratch Community Guidelines and Terms Of Service are strictly prohibited. Speaking of such topics increases the risk of the studio being banned and will be punished with removal of curatorship. ARTICLE 5 Managers may not remove curators or other managers without reason. Members of the Council must provide a valid reason to remove one’s curatorship or membership of the Council before taking such action. Violation of this law will be demoted or removed from the community. ARTICLE 6 Only object related projects are allowed. All projects in the community’s studios must be related to object shows in some form. Violation of this rule will result in the project being removed from the studio. ARTICLE 7 Redemption is permitted. If a person who has broken a rule has proven to have improved and swears on their momma that they shall not repeat their actions, they shall be permitted to rejoin the community. Amendment I Freedom of creation and speech is to be permitted with the exception of inappropriate comments. Projects and comments may express any opinion or views and shall not be removed, except for those which break studio and website guidelines. Amendment II All SOSCers may use the report button on any post if the post violates either the CG or studio rules. Curators and managers are encouraged to report projects and comments which break the Community Guidelines or studio rules. Amendment III Harassment shall not be permitted within the SOSC. Harassment of persons in the community will not be tolerated for any reason and shall be punishable by removal from the community. Amendment IV A fair vote of 9 randomly selected SOSCers is required with a majority vote to remove curatorship. In the event of a member’s removal from the community, 9 members with no connection to the removed person shall be randomly selected. The majority of these 9 must vote to remove the member before they are removed. Amendment V SOSCers are granted the right to defend themselves. In the event where a member of the community is accused of breaking a rule, they have the right to defend themselves against the allegations with proof of innocence. Amendment VI Any SOSCer may defend another. Members have the right to defend an accused person with proof of their innocence. Amendment VII SOSCers may not be reported or have their curatorship removed unless substantial evidence has been found of rule violations. Members of the community must provide substantial evidence of a member’s rule violation before reporting. Amendment VIII No SOSCer may be subject to curatorship removal if they have made significant contributions and they have not done such actions in the past. If a member has contributed to the community and hasn’t violated any rules in the past they shall not be subjected to removal from the community. Amendment X All Scratcher Rights not mentioned are given to all SOSCers. All members of the community are entitled to Scratcher Rights not mentioned in this constitution. Amendment XI All powers not given to curators belong to the managers. Powers not given to the curators are given to the studio managers.
