Jack held on tightly to his seat belt. His fur raised as the helicopter flew through the air. He hated the fact that at any moment this could all come crashing to the ground. His father was an crop duster, and Jack had been up on the Bulldogger (His fathers crop duster) a few times. But Jack always hated it. As they touched down on a snowy mountian top Jack was the first one to jump out of the Helicopter, landing in the soft freezing snow. Jack looked around his breath shifting around him like wheat that danced in the fields. The cold air bit as his ears and nose making his amber eyes water. He waited for the camera men to set up, pulling the denim jacket up further on his neck, his cross was cold to touch as frost crept onto the metal. Jack looked to the sky as snow started to fall, looking back at the crew they motioned to the spring of water Jack shivered as he stepped through the snow to the water, the steam drifting too like a feather dancing in the wind. Jack stepped in trying to ignore the pins and needles that tingled in his paw pads. His jacket was some how water proofed so his body would not get wet. He made his way to a nice shallow spot dead center with int he spring and watched as a bubble floated to the surface. Pop! The bubble broke sending little frozen droplets into the steaming water. A waterproof paper remained where the bubble was. Jack took the paper and read out loud "What where your first thoughts after being reaped?" Jack chewed on the question for a moment "Well my first thoughts where to my family and how they would get by with out me. Then it was to my friend and how they would get by." He stated simply. "I hope that they are all taking care of themselves, And I hope Shannon is ok. She is- or was my girlfriend" he stuttered on the last part of his sentence. He let out a sigh of relief as a new bubble floated to him. Taking the next question he read it to himself, before reading it out loud "Do you have any allies?" Jack grinned at the camera "Not as of yet, But I think most of my allies are with in the watchers and my family and friends back at home." he said trying to swoon over the watchers. His tail flicked under the water sending ripples through the water. He blinked as the next bubble popped. He unfolded the note and his eyes widened as he reconized the writing. //Shannon?// he thought reading over the question, taking in every curisve letter 'if you where to win the games, would you ever think about having a family?' he looked at the camera "Er-um- sorry. I should read this out." he paused "What is the first thing you will do if you win the games!" He meowed changing the question "I would go to my favorite lil dinner in district 9 and have a burger!" he chuckled, shoving the paper into his pocket. Jack stumbled out of the water and back to the helicopter ready to go back to the training center. Jack shook the frost from his fur and jacket as he stepped onto the helicopter. END)))
