Use it like a real lift. Warning : Loud noises ! Next part of the description : But despite being incredibly nasty and horrid, this lift has some unusual features such as the buttons which looks like Innovation buttons that you would see on American generics but this lift is located in the UK (In Nottingham), the fact that it’s a hydraulic with the motor room at floor 6 (top floor) instead of at basement 1 (bottom floor) and the fact that it’s a 8 storeys hydraulic, but everything else about this lift is very very bad ! Also, I’ve never seen a generic lift like this one recalling to ground after 30 secs of inactivity. Also, if the lift recalled to ground but failed to startup and opens the doors, it reduces the floor recall timer from 30 seconds to 1 second (This happens only if the lift is at basement 1). Also, the logic can accept all of the calls but it’s programmed to accept 1 call at a time and that’s very very odd but also appallingly bad ! And that’s it for the description of this typical cheap and very rubbish generic flatpack lift built in the early 2000’s. Also, if you re-open the door exactly when the safety connects it cancel the destination. Also, Wegam was a french lift equipment company that got taken over by Selcom/Wittur in about 2001 and they rebranded Wittur doors as Wegam. I’m not fully sure but Wegam was maybe renamed as Wittur France.

Description

Credits to : - @Jon5432 - @ZZ9PluralZAlpha, - @RussoElevatorsInc - Everyone else who provided the assets for this projects (except bad users etc). Title : Extremely cheap and nasty generic hydraulic lift. Brand : Upmarket Lift Services Ltd (A stupid generic). Year installed : February 2002 (I’m amazed how long this cheap, nasty, horrid and pathetic little piece of utter pure generic junk lasted). Serial number : UM 0064. Capacity : 630 Kg or 8 Persons. Type : Single-ram roped hydraulic with motor room (That is way too flimsy for the amount of floors). Logic : Smith & Harold microcontroller, 1 call at a time memory (This logic is very similar to IMEM Ascensores, but this logic is even worse than IMEM). Voice : Older IMEM Ascensores (A creepy and grumpy voice nicknamed as the « Murder voice » by Jordan aka Beface Computing and this voice is horrid) ? Chime : Unknown Italian generic chime ? (Really bad chime !). Doors : Wegam (Selcom/Wittur) Hydra Arm (Nasty, very cheap and unreliable !). Floors : 8 (B1, G, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)(Far too high for this kind of piece of rubbish). Starter type : Star-delta. Buttons : Innovation (Strange but still very cheap, but at least it’s not Dewhurst or DMG) ? Indicator : DMG (Booooo) ? Hydraulic motor : Generic/Leistritz ?/Blain ? (Very bog- standard !). Valve : Blain (EV 100 ?)(Very bog-standard, once again !). Full speed : 0.4 m/s (So slow). Levelling speed : About 0.1 m/s (Pretty slow but typical for hydraulics). Position of the motor room : At floor 6 (That’s very wierd but that’s also very bad because the hydraulic oil has to travel much longer than if the pump was at Basement 1 (The lowest floor) which makes the hydraulics even more worn, increases the risks of overheating and makes this lift even harder to maintain. Plus, it has a painfully long charge timing and this lift fails to move upwards at full speed nearly all the time, oddly enough it relevels very easily and smoothly). Maintainance contract : Stannah (Since the 10/07/2023). Phone : Safeline (Replacing an older phone). Positioning system : Hole-punch-tape (What’s the point of that system of a rubbish 2-speed generic hydraulic ?). Location : Some medium quality modern flats (That were built between August 2001 & March 2002), 43 Butcher Avenue, Nottingham, UK. My opinion : Back in the 2000’s, nasty Kirk Time quality lifts were unheard of but cheap nasty generics were already here and here’s a great example of a generic lift which is nearly as bad as a Kirk Time quality lift. This is a nasty « flatpack » lift, « flatpack » lifts are very cheap that are often found in very cheap small buildings (They only serves 2-3 floors), but this lift is 8 storeys of completely utterly generic hydraulic rubbish ! This generic lift was installed by Upmarket Lift Services Ltd. The hydraulic pump is too weak for the height of the building, this lift is very slow, extremely cheaply made, has an horrid chime, takes ages to startup, has an annoying door close button trick, the door timers are painfully long, it makes loads of cheap noises while moving, it doesn’t level well, the ram is worn-out, the logic is a disgustingly cheap and nasty circuit board made in China and assembled in the UK by Smith & Harold Lifts which used to make better lifts, but anyway let’s move on to the main topic of this Scratch project which is this mega rubbish lift. The logic also only remembers 1 call at a time which is unacceptable for a lift from 2002 installed in a 8-storeys modern building in my opinion, the chime is just horrid, same as the Wegam (A door manufacturer owned by Wittur) Hydra-Arm door operator which is very slow and makes horrible noises, it’s also got the nasty older IMEM Ascensores lift voice which sounds very grumpy and creepy, the indicator is bad, the logic glitches when there’s a safety break, it is almost unusable because it almost never starts going up at full speed, the indicator is really bad, it spends ages levelling, overshoots, then relevels, you cannot even go to the basement without wearing it out because it is set to go park at ground after being unused for 30 seconds and it will keep on trying to go to ground and you have to wait until the lift starts up properly, if you want to go up, the lift can safety break very often because it fails to start up and go full speed almost all the [censored] time, it starts with a very violent jolt when going upwards, the safety breaks are also really violent, even the hydraulic pump which is the highest quality component of the lift sounds very tired and overall this lift is appallingly bad and due to a lot of complains from the residents, this lift will soon get completely replaced by Stannah with a new 1.6 m/s Ziehl-Abegg Zeta MRL traction lift with Sprinte logic, Picadilly Line voice, Fermator doors, Schaefer buttons and Sprinte LCD indicators. The former motor room at floor 6 will be renovated to be converted into a flat extension. Next part of the desc in « instructions ».
