@geotale and @chrome_cat The single pass scan uses previous X, previous Y, one shade lighter grey of previous X, one shade darker grey of previous Y, one shade lighter grey of previous Y and one shade darker grey of previous X to speed up scanning. #080808 color increments work best to increase brightness of scan color. RLE Render isnt pixel perfect and probably some bugs but decent detail in a short time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It first turns a colour nprguy image by upping the brightness to 5.9 and then uses color 1/0 to give a saturated grey scale image. It then scans the 172k grey scale pixels with 357k colour checks. The shade lookups get 26k hits.
