(Read the notes for a simpler explanation) Ravenholm, a nation that has received so much abuse from the rest of the world, it is a place that still stands because of the hard work of Rune Torolan and his successors. Originally forcefully taken over by a dictator, it became a land where people of all places may sit down and relax after said dictator was overthrown…well, until Der grausame Krieg der Verwüstung, which means the Cruel War of Desolation in Ravian (The Cruel War of Desolation is what the Ravians call the war in 3047). Now, it is very rare for the Republic of Volksschild Ravenholm to allow any who don't hold Ravian blood in, and even rarer to see a Ravian outside of the Republic. Now, the Republic of Volksschild Ravenholm is like a fortress, that doesn’t mean that it’s a Totalitarian nation though. They still support the old ways of freedom, though it has been slightly twisted to fit a more…enforcing nature. If this nation were to make contact with the outside world, then that is a sign that something is truly wrong. The organization called the [Raven’s Gate] still lies in mystery, even after so many centuries of it’s existence, there are rumors that they may have been trained by the Oligarchy of Sanctus Phoresia, so many fear it’s name.
Capitalist Republic If you want me to explain it in a simpler manner, basically, after the war in 3047 (which the Ravians call Der grausame Krieg der Verwüstung, which means the Cruel War of Desolation in Ravian(German IRL)), the Ravians couldn’t trust any other nation anymore, and the country became more akin to that of a fortress, no one gets in, no one gets out. Ravenholm has made no communication with the rest of the world, and any attempts at communicating with them have all ended in failure. Because of this, if they WERE to contact a nation, then that’ll be a sign to the rest of the world that there is a huge threat that must be neutralized as soon as possible.
