Songecho raced to her fathers side, "Songecho" He rasped "nononononono" Songecho whispered to herself " You are the new Deputy of Nightclan" He said Songecho looked to her father tears in her eyes "Don't leave me" she rasped Nightstar smiled and licked his kit "I will never leave you, Ever" he purred A shiver went through his body and then he was still Songecho gulped back her tears, She had to, as the leader Of Nightclan would Honeytail ran back to camp crying "Owlflight" she whispered the cats from the clan all turned there heads To Songecho. Songecho took a deep breath and jumped onto the night rock "All cats gather beneth The Night Rock" She said "Please?" Cats looked up from there D3ad loved ones and watched her carefully "Nightstar is-" A lump formed in her throat "Dead" she said crying A yowl of sadness and Pain rose from the crowed of cats "I will go tonight to the Moon pelt to receive my nine lives" she said quietly No cat said anything after that
