okie dokie so uh I wanted to finish this but I'm kinda sorta you know. Leaving this account. It's so unfinished there's so much code I need to add and animation I need to tweak and hhghgh I really didnt wanna post it but whats done is done. Don't worry, I'll definitely use him a lot if I do win him, just outside of Scratch!! I do have this one clay model planned that he will be PERFECT for, but I don't like making actual physical DTA entries because then I'll just be sad every time I see it if I dont win, so if I dont win I just wont make that model :> I'll also finish this meme and post it on my yt if I win :> Anyways there's some extra backstory bellow!! He's kinda like. immortal. like, he's existed from the beginning of time. so one backstory *really* wouldn't have been able to show his whole life- there are *hundreds* of stories in his life that could be full books!!! That's why I decided to just do bullet points of general things about him in the last entry (linked right at the bottom of this if you wanna see it!) but in this one, I focoused on one area of his life for the meme, so I decided to tell you it here, but very basic summary because I'm not the biggest fan of writing. So, as mentioned in the last project, Morel has a 'rage' form, which he turns into when experiencing overwhelming rage. Around when the dinosaurs were alive, Morel was a well loved, gracious leader of the entire world. Animals all bowed down to his every will, and he stayed in his biggest form as much as possible, to show his power. He was a truly great leader, and powerful, too. Back then, he didn't only have the power to speak to others through their minds, but he could completely control them. He could also create life at any stage (now he can only create baby plants and animals, but back then he could create a full grown rhino and an elder tree if he really wanted). He could sprout plants and create animals using nothing but his mind, while now he can only use his tail. Why did he lose so much of his power? Well, he took it from himself. As punishment for what came next. One day, a group of animals found a way to disobey Morel's mind control, and started wreaking havok. they would go round killing other animals, stealing food, destroying habitats; anything to ruin Morel's hard work. Morel tried his best, but it seemed he had no way to control the minds of these creatures- their own willpower had grown far too strong. What he should have done in this situation is simply killed off these creatures who thought they were better than the entire world. But Morel, just like anyone else, feels full emotion. He could not control the rage and betrayal he felt. He doesn't even remember much of what happens next. What actually happened is he turned into his rage form, summoning asteroids to plumet into the earth, destroying most of its life and making many species exctinct. He doesn't remember much of this though. he just remembers his overwhelming rage, and then finally calming down, only to be met with the sight of the world he loved so dearly... destroyed. And it was all his doing. He could have fixed all this with just his mind. Brought to life new creatures, new plants, new life to fill this world. But he knew, after what he had done, he did not deserve to have his world fixed so easily. Instead, he contained most of his magic in a small green gem, which he hid in a place only he knows. He now has magic much, much more tame than before, and it took him decades to rebuild his world, but he knows that this is the punishment for what he did, and hopefully it will keep him from ever doing anything so horrible again. Oh and by the way, there's still a lot not mentioned in the bullet points from the last project. This guy's life is very hard to explain. Like, I didn't even mention the role the crystal plays later!!! But I'm gonna tell you anyways because I want to mwahahaha Ok so long story short Morel finds a group of friends and he really doesnt want to lose these ones because he's sick of his friends dying so they all agree to take a chunk of the crystal and wear it as a necklace, plus Morel makes them all immortal (with their consent of course) so now that they have part of the crystal each, they can help Morel look after the world, and they look after different areas, and meet up all the time, because they're best friends of course. One looks after the snowy places, one desserts, one jungles, etc etc. Morel even let himself keep some of the crystal, as a reward for uniting the group to make the protectors of the world not only a one man job!!
