A HISTORY: KTRM 198 Used to serve on the southern railroad as ks1 722. It was then sold to the ET&WNC and the afterwards sold for scrap in 1972. The Kentucky historical commision bought the locomotive for 25$. The restoration was completed in 1975 with it pulling excursions to this day. 2721: The locomotive seen behind the 198 is Clinchfeild & Southern 234 built in 1920 for the southern. It served till 1940. It was sent to the clichfeild shops during the merger to be rebuilt as a ks2. It is undergoing a move from the musem to the railroad shops because of a buyback from the C&S to revitalise steam in the US.
