MD&SW 6810 was built in Medi Dune Locomotive Works In California, 1978. 6810 was mostly used for freight work, mixed traffic or passenger. but in 1999 she was retired from working from a boiler explosion in 1997. The engineers of 6810 were scared if the boiler would explode in the past, but 6810 is now fully restored and no boiler explosions from now on
