-- ✿ Notice There are four pieces of art, the project will choose one randomly when you start. Click space or use the arrow keys to move through the rest! -- ✿ Nature Art It's been quite a while since I shared a project for myself, and I was inspired by @BooksDontHaveTitles to create a few pieces of positive mental health art ^^ It's not abstract nor is it unrecognizable, but it is a unique portrayal of nature in my view and I like that. It was really fulfilling and calming not to draw humans for once! I've never really been happy with my art of humans or animals, but the art here both resonates with me and makes me feel more optimistic. Thank you, Bakie, for the opportunity to create it! <33 I encourage you to go take a look at her project above whenever you might be feeling down, and perhaps even remix it yourself! ^^ -- ✿ Walkthrough Let's start with the one of the sunrise and mountains! I blockshaded part of this off a photo I took, and then blended the water and just created a simple sky. I might share the photo with you guys some other time <3 The colors here are so vibrant and I absolutely love that :> Next, the leaves and the sun behind the hills. This one is simple, but it's nice and bright and has a perspective I really like ^^ And then the rose - ahh I love the rose, it just pops out so well :> I learned how to draw roses traditionally a looong time ago from a youtube tutorial that I don't think I'll be able to find again, but I've added my own twists over time so this is fairly unique <3 Lastly, the island - I followed part of @The-Book-Worm 's landscape tutorial to make this! I also used sketchbook extras for the clouds and water. I actually made it as a Christmas present for my mom, because she was feeling nostalgic when remembering traveling to all the different places we've been. I made this for her and printed it out so that she'd be able to have a mini-vacation on canvas whenever she looked at it. I just decided to include it here because it's another piece of nature art that I'm fairly happy with. <3 -- ✿ Credits - Me (Birdi) for the art and the photo the sunrise art was based off <3 - @BooksDontHaveTitles ( Bakie, or @-ChocoLoco- )'s mental health art <3 Check it out here! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/478246245/ - Landscape tutorial by @The-Book-Worm (Bookie) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/442862857/ - How Far I'll Go (Music Box) Yes, Bakie's music choice is excellent so I swiped that from her as well. Sorrryy xD
