Instructions written by: @ciara0404 ============================================= For the Scratch Week theme 1, I decided to make a simple Rube Goldberg Machine. The reason this fits the theme is simply because Rube Goldberg machines are machines that are overcomplicated, but are designed to perform a simple task. That one sentence can also sum up half of the codes I make on Scratch. This simple Rube Goldberg Machine was designed to turn on a lamp. It was inspired by the diagram in the wikihow for how to make a Rube Goldberg Machine. The steps are as follows: A pendulum swings, hitting a ball. The ball rolls down a ramp, where it falls into a bucket. The bucket then falls down, due to the weight being heavier. This results in a domino being knocked over. The domino then knocks over another domino, which then knocks over another. This third domino pushes a button. The button being pushed results in the lightbulb being turned on.
