(Press Space to get rid of the page) I would be fine with being a leader or a co leader Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I know the art might not be that good as I suck at art, but I poured my heart and soul into this project and hope you pick me as your (co) leader. Credits: Google for images (Fun fact the girl in the cover photo used to be my coach) Sia for the song Never Give Up Me for all the hard work put into this project @-Alocasia for making this project (Go follow her, she's awesome) All the other hosts and leaders past & present All my teammates (Especially you Liv) Note From Allie's Lacrosse Friend: Dear Scratch Writing Camp people whoever you are (No offense, haha lax joke, anyways back to business) When Allie [Allie here, I took out my real name and put my scratch name] told me how badly she wanted this and how many times she's been rejected. I, being her best friend on the team, thought I would put in a good word for her. Now I don't know if you will even take this letter into account or if she'll even put it on her application, but Allie is one of the sweetest, kindest, most caring people I know. She's ambitious, determined, compassionate, helpful and a great leader. I know I can speak for all of us on the team when I say we would follow her anywhere, even when it seems impossible Allie always finds a way to make it possible. ~Liv Writing Excerpts: (3 + a Poem) 1. Silence. Then I hear the faint sound of sirens in the background and they're flashy lights. Then two ladies in matching jacket run over to me. "Honey, can you hear me? Do you know where you are?" I groaned in response to one of the ladies. " I'm Gabby, this is Shay we're gonna take good care of you ok?" I nodded as well as I could. Memories of the resent event still fresh in my mind. Was I going to d*e? As my vision began to clear I saw two policemen standing behind the two ladies. One had dark brown eyes with dark brown hair and almond skin, while the other had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and very pale skin. They brought over a back board and were about to role me onto it, but just then in the distance another 'Bang! Bang! Bang!' Could be heard. 2. Alice was swept underwater the roar of the waves still in her years. She struggled against the current pulling her down. She couldn't old her breath forever she was going to pass out at some point. She finally caught a break and swam as fast as she could towards the top she was so close, but then another wave hit pulling her deeper under until everything went black. 3. ‘Run.’ The last words my parents told me as our house was destroyed by Laistrygonian Giants. But that’s all I've been doing for the past 4 months, running. I ran through the woods, something chasing me in the shadows. I was scared, I didn’t want to die an early death at 14 years of age. I missed my parents so much, they had died for me to get away so I wasn’t about to let myself become lunch. As I neared the edge of the forest I reached down to my side where mom’s dagger hung in it’s sheath. I felt the carved wood under my bare hands and gripped it tighter, pulling it from it’s sheath. As I looked around trying to find the figure in the shadows I remember my mom’s words from when I was younger. “Only the most skilled fighters use dagger’s Zoë, and you have potential.” I heard the snap of a twig and was snapped out of my thoughts. I looked around with wide eyes. I wasn’t really paying attention to my surroundings and where I was, when someone rested a hand on my shoulder I spun around so fast I nearly decapitated them. But they were fast, they dogged under my blade and grabbed my sword arm by the wrist. When I finally got a good look at them and my surroundings, I was still a little scared but not too much. Poem: Dear Lacrosse, Rain or shine, choosing you was the best decision I ever made in my life The moment I first saw you I fell for you. I gave you everything I had every second and minute that your stick was in my hand. As a young girl fawning over you I knew you'd always be the one for me. Every time I step onto the field I give you everything I have, pushing myself to my limits and taking every opportunity to improve my skills, Driving to the net without a second to waste, Chasing down every loose ball I see, Getting those jump balls on the draw, You asked for my effort, I gave you my all, Because you mean so much to me. I played through the pain and sweat Not because I had to or the competition of the other team pushed me, But because you were there calling to me, Every sacrifice, victory, and challenge I had was all thanks to you. And you and I both know what every challenge you throw at me next I'll be ready to take it, You'll always be there for me on the good and bad days, the late nights and early mornings Stick in my hands no matter what. Love you for infinity, Allie (Inspired by Kobe Bryant's 'Dear Basketball') Thanks Again!
