As always, forkphorus or turbo mode helps a lot with getting rid of lag (it helps SO MUCH, go try it): https://forkphorus.github.io/#415594465 Credits are at the bottom Instructions: Click to claim land next to your current land. When a nation (color) is all out of blocks, they've been conquered and die. When you hit a certain amount of blocks owned (20 for 2 blocks) you can start claiming multiple blocks at once. This requirement increases the more you do it though, so you'll need exponentially more blocks over time to get the upgrades. You can type in "knight" to enable chess knight moves, which are laggy as they use the mod-running script instead of the normal movement script. Other stuff (including credits): Modding is way easier with this version! Modding does use a special script which causes a lot of lag, so be ready. All scripts are by me (with help from my brother), so credit me if you use them. Thanks! Make sure to read this - it has a feature you can use ingame without hitting see inside. Kinda like an easter egg i guess. This version is much more moddable, with lists (that you can remix and edit) for all direction movements, even DIAGONAL ones, which aren't enabled by default. A good example for this (and one you can beat the game using) is chess knight moves, which you can enable at the beginning by typing in "knight" when it asks you how many robots you want. it will then ask you to type in a real number, but the knight moves will be enabled when you start the game. it resets when you hit the green flag. These movements aren't really hardcoded in, and so they use the new Mod movement script, which causes a lot more lag, but lets you change movements without going and changing a ton of code. if you don't know how chess knights move, google it. it's kinda like an L. USING MODS CAUSES A LOT OF LAG! Credits: - my brother helped with a script - idea for easier modding possibly from this remix: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/415284442/ - my brother helped a ton with ideas to fix MAJOR lag - cool 3D background thing made by me in minecraft and GIMP. possibly got the idea from tetris posters. - this whole thing was originally based off of Elimination War, a remix-based game: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/358402866/ people who gave ideas: - @-zcoder- - @thugadugary - start menu probably based off of my older game https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/195120473/
this one only changes some minor things i think (like how turns work) and adds a start menu. i think it might be really laggy so maybe don't try knight mode. start menu looks like the one from stik universe, which is one of my older games based off of an idea by @acduckii_rises. he didn't make the idea for the menu though.
