~Chapter 7~ "Edwin, wake up already. We have to go." I groaned as I heard Renn's voice above me. I opened my eyes sleepily and mumbled, "Five more minutes. Please." He yanked me out of my not-so-comfy "bed." "No time. You slept late." As I rubbed my eyes and stepped into the sunlight, I realized it was probably very early, judging by the fact that the sun was barely peeking over the horizon. I looked at my brother with a raised eyebrow. "No one's even out here yet, and I just saw a BAT. Bats don't come out in the late morning." I turned around to go back into the tent. "Thanks, but I'd rather be woken up when the sun is actually visible." Renn sighed, then chuckled and grabbed my hand just as I was lying back down. "I just thought you might be interested in telling me why there's a huge bloody cut on your arm that you haven't treated." "Does it really matter?" I said, annoyed. "I'm your brother, so yes, Edwin. It does." "Fine. I was fighting RABID WOLVES with a STICK as Thomas nearly decapitated me with arrows, so injuries were kinda inevitable. I WAS gonna treat it once I woke up." He let go of me. "Fine, but I'm holding you to that last bit." I simply turned around, waved and crawled back into the tent. ~transition woahhh~ When I actually woke up, everyone was outside huddled around the fire. Cory was shining her sword, Ridge was trying to steal more of Raven's food, and Amora was tuning her lute. I didn't see Thomas, though. "Thomas still asleep?" I asked Ridge. "Yep. He sleeps like a log sometimes." Just he said this, Thomas came staggering out of his tent, rubbing his eyes. As he greeted everyone and sat down next to Eliza for obvious reasons, the first moment of the entire group being up for the day began with Raven smacking Ridge upside the head for taking some more grapes. I began to bandage my arm like I had promised my brother I would, and sarcastically raised an invisible glass.
