- Chapter 3 - Begin the fight! Stumbling out of my cozy tent that I shared with my best friend Eliza, my tired eyes had spot a litter of kittens just right outside the campsite. The first thought that came to mind was, ‘Aw, those kittens are adorable!’ But when I stumbled out further for the cold wind blowing into my face and blinked another couple of times, I soon realized that these kittens were rabid wolves circling the campsite. ‘Aw, these puppies are so cute!’ I cooed internally as I reached for my lute behind me. I immediately grabbed the handle and flipped it over to my side. As the others prepares for the fight, I re-tuned the readied tighten strings before plucking them to test that it won’t backfire with screeches. Luckily, the sound of the strings bounced off with a simple yet lively tune, enough to strengthen the team’s morale to fight! And it kiiiiiinda made the wolves charge faster at us but it’s a work in progress. "Get into your groups!" Cory shouted, running towards the wolves with her shield up with Renn running behind her. Tom and Raven ran a bit behind me as they positioned their bows upwards towards the wolves. Eliza had already been dousing down the wolves in hopes of making them slip and tumbled downhill. A few of them did but the rest of the pack kept charging forward until they were finally at ground level. For some reason, Ridge is nowhere to be found though I think he went sneaking around the trees. Arrows whistled past me and I can see Edwin behind me ducking beneath the arrows. "Watch where you're shooting!" He yelled at Tom. I don't think they heard him as they continued firing their arrows. I quickly got out of the way and began to play an unfamiliar tune that it's notes began to weave into an illusion of a doe running right in front of the wolves. It confused them as I finally saw Ridge emerging from the shadows and attacking the wolves from the side. The illusion wavered as the wolves growled at us angrily before retreating back, deciding it wasn't worth the fight to lose a large number of their pack. Everyone went back to our dimly lit bonfire to regroup with the whole team. "Is everyone okay?" Later, Edwin was tending to Cory's and Ridge's minor wounds while everyone else seemed tired from the fight. Everyone except me. To lighten up the mood, I asked excitedly, "Sooo....Who wants to tell us some stories?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ACK I'm bad at writing fight scenes! So sorry! TwT Also I have no idea for what's Amora's theme was gonna be but for this chapter I guess I'll just put down an undertale song since this chapter was mainly about fighting and stuff and yeahhhh.
