Classic WHO Continued is a series dedicated to speculating alternate events if doctor who was not cancelled back in 1989. J Michael Strazinski wanted to take the show back to it's roots considering how outlandish the show has gotten throughout the Kingston & Smith era. This season & era also acted as a small reboot for the series, while continuing events from Season 62. Thus a new actor comes to take the reign of the doctor & the 17th incarnation of the doctor is played by Richard Ayoade. The new companion for the series is played by Billie Piper (who IOTL played Rose Tyler & is somewhat playing 16 though it has not been confirmed yet, I might be wrong.). the titles uses Season 66's music but updated & as for the sequence itself. it harkening back to the roots of "lets go on an adventure with the doctor" type feel.
