BACKSTORY: Vigilant was originally born to a mother who was a solider for her kingdom, while also having a father who was formerly a solider, but fled one day. Vigilant's real name was 'Joel', and was training under 'Lightmaker', which was a solider. When he was just an apprentice(Two years), he followed a spirit cat into the forest, which had paths leading to the Fire Spirits, the Wind Spirits, and the Water Spirits. He followed a hidden path that led to the Celestial Spirits, which were defensive at first. A young molly who was one of the spirits recognized him as Joel, the one whose father was named 'Jace', and reunited them, as Jace was living with the Celestial Spirits. Jace wasn't too happy, but let him in anyway. The young molly had started training Joel anyway, teaching him to navigate pathways through the stars and clouds. Joel learned quickly, earning his rank as a Celestial Guard, Joel was often sent to guard the Celestial Princess, 'Harper', which he defended her fiercely under the Spirit's command. When he D!ed from a battle wound at 20 years, he became a spirit, who the Element spirits discussed with the Celestial Spirits that he had earned a new rank, a knight. The Celestial Spirits agreed, granting him the rank, which a Celestial Knight is to mentor, but also guard the kingdoms themselves, while making sure everyone is happy. Harper decided to give Joel a new name, because Joel wanted to move on in life and not be stuck, so she gave him the name of 'Vigilant', which states his watchful eyes, and tendency to stay awake guarding.
