- - - [ ! due date: may 16th, 10:00pm EST ! ] [remember to add your entries to the correct studio or else they don’t count!] [please do not use this project as a place to advertise!] - ⤑ merry 2 years on scratch to me! plus, it’s april fools day (at the time of posting) and i couldn’t resist the chance to make a real dta and advertise it as a joke… but hey, this is a very real dta and i wish you all luck, everyone! ⤑ oh yeah 1. surprise, Bee art looks a little different now if you haven’t seen my recent art, 2. due date is May 16th because that’s my half-birthday, so why not :) and 3. I cannot tell you how hard it was to not keep these for myself… whyyyy me ⤑ click or press space to move on to the next design - what is a dta?- ⤑ dta stands for “draw to adopt”. you draw the character you want to adopt and whoever draws them the best and puts in the most effort in their entry/entries wins the design! - rules- ⤑ failure to follow these may disqualify your entries ⤑ you must add your entry to the correct studio in order for the entry to count (you do not have to remix, just put entries into the corresponding studios) ⤑ NO extensions/extra time, NO EXCEPTIONS. the deadline is final: MAY 16, 10PM EST ⤑ no tracing (excluding traced memes), recoloring, AI, or anything else of the sort. art must be your own work. you’re allowed to use animation meme templates and whatnot, but please give credit to them! ⤑ no bullying/bribing people into not entering ⤑ no guilt tripping (no going: “I won’t win :(, my art is bad”) ⤑ do not post these designs offsite unless you win them. you do not own them until you win them ⤑ making the character anthro or human is okay as long as they remain clearly recognizable ⤑ you are allowed to change parts of the design, but do not majorly alter the designs; this is not a redesign contest. designs must stay recognizable ⤑ do not make any designs similar to these designs. i do not own design concepts, but it’s really not nice to just take my designs, edit a few things around, and then claim it as your own thinking ⤑ no sculptures or anything too physical ⤑ most importantly, have fun! this shouldn’t be “who can draw the most stuff before the deadline”- quality over quantity. i judge on a mix of effort, skill, and vibes - f.a.q- q- Do I need to ask to enter? a- Nope! q- Can we make a design anthro/human or change species? a- Yes q- How many can I win? a- You could win all, but it’s probably not likely q- Can I make minor design changes? a- Sure, just make sure that the design stays recognizable! q- Can I submit traditional art? a- Of course! q- Do I need to remix to enter? a- Nope! As long as you submit your entry to the studio, you're good to go. You can remix an animation meme template and add it to the studio (given that you give credit and use your own art) q- How can you boost your chances? a- There isn’t a straight “recipe for success”, but animations, backstories, games, interactives, and whatnot all take serious dedication and I applaud that!
