A concerning and poorly understood skin condition, now coined Rough Pox, has been reported in the Takei region, with cases steadily rising. The skin disease manifests with severe oil buildup on the skin, but also shows cracks near the lips, lesions around the eyes, and unusual boils on the chest, forehead, and neck. Early signs of subcutaneous masses shaped as if they were grapes are found near the wrists raise concerns of a staphylococcal infection. However, the full scope of the disease, its transmission, and potential treatments remain unclear to the medical department of Grobenmark and officials of Takei, as they close the borders in hopes to quarantine the infected.
