Due to recent outbreaks, the Empire of Takei has closed its borders from any non-citizens. FOR CLARIFICATION: Despite heavy quarantine of outsiers, a few cases of Roughpox were reported in the city of Sendao. The city is being fully shut down an quarantined, with nobody allowed in or out. Citizens and non-medical personnel have been forced to remain in their homes until further notice. Small groups attempted to protest this, but were quickly detained. As a result, small detachments of ITA troops now accompany medical personnel to enforce the quarantine. UPDATE: After weeks of recovery and HEAVY isolation of 4 city blocks from the rest of Sendao, the few infected within the city have fully recovered, with no confirmed deaths. Takeian scientists have successfully isolated samples of Roughpox, and have successfully kept them alive by mimicking conditions within the human body. Scientists now hope to research these samples in heavily isolated labs in the far south of Takei, with plans for future collaboration with other nations' leading scientists. (FOR OTHER PEOPLE: THE ONLY AFFECTED CITY IS SENDAO. I was originally not gonna have anything happen in Takei, but due to some recent posts, i've decided to NOT do that because it's boring.)
