[x] Hi there! Welcome to this scriptreading competition, a quick little challenge for voice actors! This will likely be a reoccurring competition, with a new script each time. This script is just a little something I whipped up, a small monologue from a child who's lost their way home. The implication is that their father and them fought, and they were dropped off in the middle of nowhere as punishment. They tried to wander back home on their own, but ended up getting lost. When their dad returned to find them, they was nowhere to be found. They make recordings on their phone adressed to their mother as a form of coping, hoping that one day they'll be able to speak with her in person again. Given the circumstances, the voice should be desperate, sad, perhaps even nostalgic at times. Add in anything else you believe fits! [x]
