In 1977, the station introduced the White-Tailed Eagle logo, representing the national bird of Greenland. The logo was mixed upon release, but Greenlandic audiences began to appreciate it more as the logo was longer used. This logo would later be replaced in 1988. In 1980, the GTV station was bought out by Regional Television, and thus integrated their logo into GTV's ident. [THIS IS ALL A WORK OF FICTION, OBVIOUSLY.]
