Broadcasting to the Danish territory of Greenland (obviously), Greenland Television was formed on September 14th, 1965. Before it was launched, it was simply known by the codename "GTV1". It did not have an on-screen ident until August 10th, 1977. The network currently broadcasts Greenlandic, Danish, and some English programming (primarily news) to the entirety of the Greenland territory. Oddly enough, some feeds in the north of Estrellia have access to the Greenland Television feed. Of course, they don't really care, but... Oh, who cares anymore. Somewhere in 1994 (probably mid-1994), GTV introduced this news intro, to positive reception amongst viewers. The company ended up using this logo until 2011 (due to a lack of budget).
