It has been wandering through space for millenniums, without a real purpose. It had friends or family, though it always wished it had one. Just the stars, planets, and moons. One day, Nelaxy drifted to an unknown planet. It drifted closer and closer, and as it approached the planet parts of it began to glow. Then it stopped getting nearer. It looked at the planet, with confusion, nothing had made it glow before. It was curious but scared of what would happen there, it landed on the planet. The planet was a bright orange with swampy green patches. In the distance was a hole in the ground. Nelaxy walked closer to it. The hole suddenly became blindingly bright and Nelaxy closed its eyes. When it opened its eyes, it was deep in the hole. It looked up; nothing but darkness. There was a small tunnel up ahead this a dim light. Nelaxy started to glow again. It thought for a moment, not knowing what to do next. Finally, it decided to go a bit further. The walk through the tunnel was very uncomfortable. It was dark and wet but it continued to follow the light. Once it had finally reached the light, it stared in amazement at what it was. There was a huge blue stone and a small creature beside it. The creature looked at Nelaxy and backed away. It must have been stuck there for a very long time. Nelaxy tried to assure the creature that it wasn't dangerous. After a long time, it realized that the small creature wasn’t listening. At first, Nelaxy was a little annoyed that it was ignoring it but it turned out the creature was deaf. Nelaxy got a better look at the creature and saw its ears and a bit of its head were injured. Nelaxy took the creature out of the little cave to get a better look. Only after it got out of the tunnel it realized that it was still stuck in the hole. The small creature looked up, got out of Nelaxy’s grip and started to run. Nelaxy, chasing after it soon found out the creature was leading them out. Relieved to see the sky, Nelaxy lay down exhausted. It was finally out of that hole! The creature gradually got closer to Nelaxy who was asleep and slept near it. For the next few weeks Nelaxy spent a lot of time with the creature. It finally got was it wanted, a friend who felt like family. I obviously didn’t read the original backstory ☠ ☠ ☠
