Chapter 6: Will growled as the magic faded from the clearing. He got up. “I can’t believe he brought Bill back!” Will wailed. Spinel shrugged. “It’s okay Will, I mean we’ll find them…” “And if we DON’T?” Will asked, falling face down onto the ground. Spinel dragged him up. “If we don’t, that sucks, but-” She sighed as her brother threw himself down again. “-we can still stop them. The zodiac symbol, remember?” Will twisted his head in her direction. “It didn’t work last time.” Spinel sighed. “Seriously, Will, I’m running out of bright sides.” She finally managed to get Will to stand again. “Look, I think we should go to the Pines now. They can complete the rift.” Will nodded glumly. Mabel ran into the door, getting her braces stuck in the wires. “AAGHHAGAHSJJXHS-” She screamed, flailing. Dipper sighed and put down his book. “Mabel, that’s like the eighth time this day. Where are you even running to?” Mabel shrugged while unhooking her braces. “I don’t actually know.” She jumped as Spinel kicked the door open. “Hello-” she began, but was interrupted by Mabel screaming and running around. Dipper jumped up and revealed a hidden nerf gun. “Who are you and why did you break open our door?” he yelled. Spinel stepped to the side to let Will through. “One,” she said. “I did not BREAK open your door, and if I did damage it, I’m not paying! Two, I am Spinel Cipher-” “Cipher?!” yelled Ford, who actually did kick down a door for his entrance. Like Dipper, he pulled out a gun. “As in Bill Cipher?!” Will groaned and fell to the floor. Spinel kicked him and said, “Get up Will,” then turned to the Pines. “Look, we have no intentions to mess up your universe, and if we did, you never would have been born!” A dart hit her face. Spinel blinked. “Sounds like a threat to me,” Dipper said, shrugging. She sighed and made Dipper’s nerf gun float away. “Will, help me here,” Spinel hissed at her brother. Will lifted his head up, glaring at her. He flipped over and sat up. “We’re to stop Bill from starting Weirdmaggedon again. Our older brother, Kill, is helping.” Ford lowered his gun slightly. “How many of you are there?” he asked suspiciously. “Only us,” Spinel answered. “Everyone else died a while ago.” she shrugged. “But our point is, we need your help to fix this!” Mabel stopped screaming. “How would we do that?” Dipper thought for a moment, and both he and Ford yelled out, “The Zodiac Symbol!” Spinel rolled her eyes, “Yes, no need to be loud.” “So…” Dipper said. “How close would you say they are to getting the rift?” “Where is it?” grumbled Bill, kicking at a rock. He and Kill wandered through the forest in search of the rift. Kill glared at him. “How am I supposed to know?” He said, pulling a branch back to smack Bill in the face. Bill ducked just as the branch was about to hit him. “You should’ve planned this out more before letting our siblings find us!” “Well, I’m sorry Mr. I Know My Fate But I’m Too Lazy To Do Anything Important To Change It Like Killing The People Who Can Kill Me When I Have Multiple chances!” “SHUT UP!” Bill yelled, voice cracking. Kill shrugged. “Look, Bill, I’m only telling the truth. You’re just a hypocrite!” As their argument got louder, they got closer to the rift. This became clear, as light flowed through the trees. Bill tripped over a root in surprise. “Look-” he yelped, pointing. Kill glanced up. “THE RIFT!” he said, dragging Bill towards it. Bill forced Kill to let go of him, and ran right up to the rift. “Finally!” he hissed raising his hand to it.
