DISCLAIMER! I'm not quitting, read this for clarity, Play the lastest version of SSBG's engine with 15+ new stages here (use turbowarp if not loading): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/997402166/ The past two to three weeks have been game changing for SSBG. I'm still sorry for the infamous month of nothing due to various reasons, like what happened to Reboot (main acc), however the past month or so has made up for as it is. 78% of the stages have been programmed, incredible visual overhauls, multiple characters and even 6 players have been added to the game. We've gone from the v4 era to the v9 era so quickly. However, due to school, starting from today I'm not gonna be able to dev until exactly two months from now. It's my final year and I'm not messing my grades up regardless of my dedication to my projects. The remaining stages will be made after this period, and this period will mainly just be @Dinostroid developing characters. @BrickPlex will likely sprite the 5 remaining stages, design the stock icons or even finish that Wario spritesheet and make him playable. @Sekiyo might come back too but that's only if characters without a portrait get in in the place of the cut characters. When I come back [to programming, I'll obviously come by from time to time to manage development] in two months hopefully the roster is nearing completion and I can finish making the stages and merge the menu demo with the final version of the engine, and the release the final game sometime during June or July. I must emphasise I'll still be active, just not burning myself out on the project. Next time I do that, it'll be until release. Thank you so much for your support, we're nearly done you guys! This means that Captain Falcon, Fox, Luigi, Mewtwo Donkey Kong, Jibanyan and Vegeta have entered development. Wario, Waluigi, Shadow, Travis Touchdown and Solid Snake too depending on how things go with development time, crunch, stress, etc. Emerald Coast, Jolly Roger Bay, the Pokémon Stage, the Starfox Stage and Shadow Moses Island will be programmed in upon my return. Other details are too minute to bring up or will likely be done under your noses! Don't expect everyone to be programmed within the two months, but we're aiming to get the game out sooner than later. in short for those who are too lazy to read dino will be working on characters from the 16th of april till the 16th of june, ill still be active but i wont be making anything. when i come back ill be working until the game gets out. 4-10 Characters to go. 5 Characters to go. Couple of fixes, polishes and finalisations. Let's go. the music is from the highlight games i played these holidays / during my stage dev spree, credit within the project, space to change song
