--~~~~~~--==|\ Ruins /|==--~~~~~~-- The game is a Metroidvania Platformer, similar to Hollow Knight or Celeste. Inspired by a great book series, Amulet. I'm working on a book series for this game. Backstory --~~-- As you get lost in a forest, you find a small crystal shining through the trees. It hovers in the air with a strange insignia, then as you inspect it, it attaches itself to your neck. You do not know what this is, but you strangely accept that it just permanently attached itself to you. Later, as you try to find your way home, it speaks to you. saying, "Your home is a lot farther away than you think it is." Then, just as your consider this message, a Rift opens up in front of you. At the time you do not know what this strange phenomenon is, until two dark figures step out of it. You cannot make out what they say, but they communicate in some way. The first one shouts in that language, then the second one replies. After the strange conversation, they bind you in a forcefield that looks like a capsule. Now, you wake up to the same voice talking to you, asking you for help. You agree to help it, knowing that helping it would most likely lead you home.
