============================================= In honor of Autism Awareness Month, I have created this project. ➤ ★Facts about Autism★ Autism is a developmental disorder that makes it difficult or almost impossible for people to interact or communicate. ➤ Autism affects 1 in every 68 people. ➤ Autism is a spectrum disorder, so every person with it has different struggles and needs. ➤ Sadly, there is no "cure" for autism, but there are different things to help people and lighten their struggles. ➤ ★ Ways to support people with Autism ★ Interview someone. Make sure that they are comfortable talking. If they are, listen, and you may learn more about their struggles. ➤ Be a role model. If people see your support, chances are they will learn about autism and maybe even follow along. ➤ Educate yourself.
