Thank these dudes for their code and art: @Lag_and_Tag_Reboot / @Lag_and_Tag , @Sekiyo / @SaimAxe , @Dinostroid , @FroggBogg , @BrickPlex / @CircleBasic , @Popcornkid9 Character sprites not by the team and we don’t own anything intellectual property like Sonic or the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It’s a fan project, not a ripoff. Tracks will be credited in the final game. Key Notes: - v7 was incomplete when it became v8, hence the possibility for more bugs and some elements of characters being unfinished, noteably Pikachu’s sprites being missing. - This version aims to add a ton more stages to the game, v9 will come out in the next week or two and it’ll finish up the bugs and characters, possibly adding in a new feature or two and starting dev on a new character. Can’t say just yet. Already Added: - Hyperbolic Time Chamber - Test - Battlefield (SSBG) - Final Destination (SSBG) - Angel Island - Ground Stage Aims to include: - Temple - Mt. Wildwood - Ghavoran - Magicant (SSBG) - Mute City (SSBG) - Great Sea - Wii Channel - Menu - Bramble Scramble - Motel NMH - DeCrepit Arena Also to get in, yet to be sprited: - Jolly Roger Bay - Emerald Coast - Pokemon Stage - Starfox Stage - Shadow Moses Island And maybe WarioWare Inc. if I have the time and space. Characters Made: 9/16 (Give or take for unfinished characters or last minute additions) Stages Made: 6/22 (They take like an hour to two hours to make each, 5 still being sprited so there's 11 I'm currently programming) Fox, Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, Jibanyan, Luigi, Mewtwo and Vegeta are also going to get in but will be made in the next few months. Some other dudes are possible but don't count on it. Notes for @Dinostroid for v9 - Samus, Yoshi and Pikachu aren't completely programmed. Pikachu needs to be finished with sprites and Samus might need a smaller hitbox so she doesn't look like she's levitating above platforms. - Some stages still have the players spawn inside them like Battlefield. Fix spawn locations. - Ground Stage's camera needs to be fixed so it is permanently zoomed out. It can still go back and forth, but it can't zoom in and out, so no X changing, just Y. - Projectiles may not spawn properly / are incomplete. - Touch up bots if possible (So if they haven't done anything in 5 seconds, they are forced to move or something so they don't just run into each other and break the game. That, or add make them enter their recoveries after using all their jumps) - Finish SFX. Maybe more voicelines, or SFX for light and heavy attacks. Maybe footsteps. If you do this, don't worry about environmental stuff. Asides from Ground Stage all the stages either have their environmental noises or don't need them / could use a generic quiet breeze. - Timer is reshown when pressing 0 and 9, with a new button for setting it to the player's clock. - If hitboxes shown, hide any stage graphics (Stage1-4, rain, overlays, etc.) via tick sprites. Don't change any code, just tick sprites to see if something's working, if stage2 has nothing showing for some stages, then it'll default to a sprite showing nothing rather than hiding itself. - Nerf Kirby, Buff Sonic
