Meanwhile, Nova X was inside of the invention room again, looking at all of the old relics she had made during her time as Queen. Oliver was with her, standing close by and looking at her. He looked a bit fearful since he did hope that she didn't get mad about how he had told her daughter every secret that she told him. Oliver knew he had to keep his mouth shut but he needed to tell Starlight that he was under the watchful eye of her mother. "Oliver, dear. Would you mind if you please take me to my daughter? I need to see her right now since I'm already missing my little star." Nova X requested, speaking in a sweet tone to influence Oliver. He gulped nervously and nodded his head in hesitation. He then led Nova X to the other side of the castle. With each hallway, Nova X began to feel like something was terribly wrong. Like someone found the answer to her deepest mystery. Oliver then opened the door for her, and Nova X instantly went inside. She quickly descended the stairs but stopped once she saw that Starlight, Chancellor and all of her servants, now alive, inside of the room. She noticed Sonic was alive and her anger immediately lit up. But her face had a smile that spoke madness and insanity. Though, Starlight felt her mother's presence and began to feel like she had been caught at a bad time. Nova X came out of the darkness of the stairwell, smiling at everyone, trying to hold back her rage and try to not snap at her daughter. "Oh boy, now the mom's here." Sonic said quietly. Luckily, Nova X ignored that and spoke up, sounding like she wasn't angry. "Hello my dears! It seems like you came into an unsafe area. Mind if every one of you please follow me back up to a better place?" Nova X asked. At that moment, the room went quiet. Sonic and his friends were looking at each other in uncertainty and slight anxiety. Starlight decided to speak up for them. "No, Mother. We need to talk about a few things. Right now." Starlight pointed at Nova X, clearly getting serious with her. Even her red eyes were glowing a bit to show she isn't in the mood to be pushed out of the way or disregarded. Nova X was surprised by this behavior she just saw within Starlight. However, it didn't completely catch her off guard. "Starlight, darling. We may speak, but it would have to be later. These uninvited guests need to be taken to a better place since this area is way too unstable for a resting place." Starlight then felt the need to just explode on her mother for being ignored, but Sonic decided to take the lead for her. "Ice Queen, we just came back to talk to you. I have been told that you hate all heroes when heroes are not bad people...and I just wanna know what makes you think like that." Nova X looked at Sonic, processing his words. Her smile faded and she slowly but tightly gripped Sonic with her hand on his chest. Sonic felt some tension building but he stayed calm. "Thanks to you for not saving me years ago, I lost all hope for heroes. Even my admiration for them broke away from me as time passed on." Nova X answered, her voice sounding slightly angry and dark. Sonic nodded slowly, only wanting her to let go of his chest. He took a deep breath, relieving the tight tension off of his chest. "Anyways, I suppose it's about time that my daughter is going to be speaking with me. And so without further ado, let's begin that now." Nova X then teleported everyone to a fancier room. Sonic and his friends were sitting down on a large couch and Starlight sat down on a recliner. Chancellor, of course, stood next to Starlight like some kind of bodyguard. "So, my dears. If we are going to talk about this talk, I suggest you do it now since we all will be here for a long, long while." Nova X responded, sitting down upon her old, yet shiny throne made of sheer ice.
