This is the first sample if you like it I will post a part two. This is a sample it has not been edited leave advice in the comments if you feel like it. I wasn't terribly transparent about her exact abilities but we'll get to that.
Victoria Xaiver was the only daughter of Charles Xaiver. Probably one of the strongest mutants to live since the strand of mutations had started. Victoria sighed. No matter what her father said she didn’t see what he meant she felt so powerless to do anything of any help. He wouldn’t let her join the X-men or start going on missions to recruit new mutants to the school. She got up and threw on a Dio t-shirt ,her denim vest, jeans and sneakers. She combed her hand through her shoulder length curly black hair. Her Dad told her that she reminded him of her mother. She hated him comparing her. Since her mom had dumped her here with him and never looked back. She walked down the steps slowly so as not to wake anybody and made her way down into the lab with her silver eyes flashing. She sat down at her work bench and began working on her new set of mental dampeners. They worked similarly to Magneto’s helmet. They made it so that she could leave the house without her father snooping around in her head. She took her old ones out and put in the new ones. Then she went into the med room and lifted up her shirt to clean up the stitches of the wound she got a few nights ago on her last self appointed mission. Damn I have to quit getting in such tight situations. She winced as she cleaned it. A figure stood in the doorway. She jumped. “Hank! You have to quit sneaking up on people!” He flicked the light on. “And you have to quit sneaking out on those little missions. Charles won’t be happy.” Victoria rolled her eyes. “I’m seventeen. I fought Apocalypse just like the rest of you. He failed to treat me with the same respect he did the rest of you! I’m tired of it! I’m doing these missions even if it kills me.” She finished cleaning her wound and put away the medical supplies. “Does Peter know?” She nodded as she stood in the doorway. “He knows.” Hank looked at her. “How does he feel about it?” She rolled her eyes. “He’s smart enough to stay out of it because he knows he can’t stop me. Once I’ve made up my mind. You should too.” She left the room and went upstairs. Her plan was almost in motion then she would leave the mansion, leave her Father, even if it meant leaving Peter behind. She stopped at Peter’s room and knocked on the door. Peter opened the door. He looked tired. “Tori? Do you know what time it is?” she rolled her eyes as fast as Peter could run. He was not an early bird unlike her who couldn’t sleep past five. “Yes Peter I realize what time it is. 6:30 is plenty late. I wanted to tell you something.” He opened the door wider and motioned for her to come in. “What is it you wanted to tell me?” he asked as he plopped down on his bed. “I’m leaving to find my own way Peter. I can’t stay here any longer.” He sat up and as he did he took his time to look at her. which concerned her because Peter usually couldn’t sit still. “Does Charales know?” Victoria rolled her eyes. “No of course not I will call you Peter I promise.” He raised an eyebrow. “Swear?” I swear Peter.” Time skip…five years. Peter’s POV He had lost contact with Victoria a few years back. He hated it but he knew she would never break her promise on purpose. She was probably captured or… dead. Peter brushed the thought out of his mind. A knock echoed on his bedroom door. He sped to the door and swung it open. It was just Hank cradling one of his tablets in his hand. “I think I found her.” Peter froze and took the tablet from Hank’s hand. It appeared to be in some kind of fancy bar full of men in military uniforms. Then a figure strode in on the left side of the screen. The video was in black in white so it was hard to tell who the figure was at first. The figure began to brutally end every man in the room, their face shrouded by a mask in hood. He was sure of just who it was when a wave of shadow hit the place and all of the fallen men disappeared in a wave of shadow leaving nothing but the figure. It took its hood and mask off. It turned and looked directly at the camera. He couldn’t make out her features exactly but he was sure he saw Victoria mouth “Come find me.” Then she shot the camera and it shifted to static.
