Chapter 4 // Blake Blake, Fay, Mal and Sal walked towards the clearing where everyone had originally woke up, a wooden sword hung by Blake’s side, they had carried it with them everywhere since the attack. They had sent a message around, asking for everyone to meet up, and discuss the attack that had happened. They reached the clearing and saw one of the other groups were already there, Andy and Hazel. Andy had a large bandage on his left arm and a band-aid, both were made of leaves and spider webs. As more groups appeared, it was clear that the attacker wasn’t just targeting one group, each of the groups, except for Fay and Blake, had an injured member. Dani had a bandage wrapped around the top of his wing, but it was made of vines and slime so it was able to stretch and let him continue to fly. Gully had a bandage wrapped around her ribs. “So from what I can see, everyone here has been attacked by the same thing, I presume,” Blake said. “Thanks for stating the obvious,” Andy said. “Well, everyone EXCEPT you,” Trinity said, accusingly. “Aww come on guys, it’s not Blake’s fault,” Fay said, trying to make everyone calm down. “Well, you don’t have any injuries either!” James yelled. “Oh come on, there’s no use in pointing fingers around, Fay and Blake helped save me when I got attacked,” Sal said, concern in her eyes. “Yeah, I think everyone just needs to calm down,” Dani said, turning to look at James. “But clearly, these attacks need to stop, Blake and Fay are the only two people who haven’t been attacked so far,” James said again, a frown on his face. “Yeah! I say we k!ll them both, for good measure,” Hazel said. “Come on, don’t get extreme,” Mal said. “Are we sure that those two weren’t in on it?” Gully said. “Hang on, let’s not get hasty, those two were attacked, just like everyone else,” Trinity said. “It’s obviously one of them,” Andy shrugged. “Everyone, let’s just calm down, if anyone gets attacked again, you know where to find us,” Blake sai angrily, before turning and beginning to walk away. Fay followed behind them, Sal and Mal were slowly following them. Sal turned and looked back at the confused crowd as they all stared at her and her friends.
