3 hours later, Starlight was beside Oliver and being quiet. He was painting his own nails and trying to talk to her, but she was just in deep thought. She kept reflecting back to the conversation she had with Nova X. She was extremely scared for her and her mentality. Oliver noticed this, gently hitting her cheek so she could stop worrying. "Starlight, why are you so worried? Did someone hurt you or something else?" Oliver asked softly, putting up the nail polish and focusing on trying to make Starlight feel better. He got up from his recliner and guided Starlight to a sofa. He sat her down, trying to calm her down. "W-What's even the deal with my mom? Why is she so..." Starlight couldn't finish her sentence, trying to figure out how to even explain Nova X precisely. "Starlight, you know she always had issues in the beginning of her life here in reality. She started out living in the virtual world, you know?" Oliver pointed out. Starlight's ears shot up, her worry slightly downing but she still panicked. "Huh...? How do you know that? Could you tell me more about it...please?" Starlight asked, some tears coming out of her eyes. Oliver smiled kindly, and wrapped an arm around her to comfort her. "Sure. So I'll start back when she was like, a toddler. Nova was...very, very fun-loving and precious. She loved heroes like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and the rest of them. But, she never understood why her parents kept giving her to very different people and always came home to handle neglect from her parents." Oliver first explained, still comforting Starlight. She looked sad instead of worried. But Oliver continued on, wanting to explain everything as much as he could. "Nova always thought her love for heroes wouldn't stop until this one day she got excited over a new Sonic game she got from Sonic himself. She got home and instantly went to her pocket dimension she got as a gift from her dad when she was born. She even had her own old computer and game console there too. But once she got inside of the game and wanted to leave, she...became panic-stricken and scared. She started to cry and want someone to get her out. She even cried for Sonic to come get her. Hours passed and no one came to her so she gave up and decided to try and get comfy in the virtual world. From there, she spent 4 years in the virtual world as a Queen. She never forgot the fact that she was a Queen in-game so she wanted to bring that idea over to reality, sparking a horrifying nightmare into the world." Oliver continued. Starlight was shaking her head in disbelief. She seriously thought that Nova X really had unstableness in her. But, she felt bad for everything about Nova X personally. Her hope for being saved by a hero was ruined and she had so much neglect in her life, it was not a funny joke to laugh about. Nova X even went crazy off of it. Starlight now knew where her grudge over heroes would come from since Nova X seemed to be a person who won't go down without a serious and long fight. She'll use all of the power she has to make sure whoever affected her will be gone from her life, no matter how many attempts it would take. Nova X even would do ANYTHING in any logical sense to get rid of anyone more powerful than her own self. Oliver stopped talking, knowing that Starlight knows all of the other parts of her life from the stories Sundown Shadow told her. Starlight figured out something, Nova X became insane and deadly because of all of the rage she placed into the tightly-held grudge. For now, Starlight planned to bring peace for her mother so everything else could become calm again. Even if it's a hard task, she'll do whatever it takes to make Nova X at peace with herself and everyone she knows.
