[ ♤ ] ↞ hello !! small assignment i've done for moon's witchcraft class !! ↠ --- assignment: research and write about an area of witchcraft we find interesting !! --- ♫ oracle cards ♫ oracle cards are a card deck used in "future seeing" and divination, often used in witchcraft! oracle cards are similar to tarot, which more people are going to recognise. they are used to see the future in some prospects, but also just as a way to reflect on happenings and really whatever the user wants to use them for! oracle cards are an unstructured deck in most instances, with no set number of cards. a particular card can have any meaning, and often have art on them, with a meaning attached. many witches will make card decks with pre-designated meanings for each card, but when using a deck you can really use your intuition, only going to show the flow and freedom of this type of cards. oracle cards don't have to have a particular theme, style, anything, but many card decks are made after a theme. (winter, wild flowers, space, etc!) oracle cards and tarot cards, though similar, are very different! tarot - oracle set # of cards - no set # of cards one particular theme - no particular theme includes common - drawn from many sources meanings - and ideas ☼ many witches will use oracle cards in non-serious situations, i know of a witch (comfy cozy witch !!) who just gives herself a small oracle reading every morning!! oracle can be used in much more serious situations, but these card decks are pretty much really flexible :] ↞ all done !! tell me if i got anything wrong :3 ↠
