Coco was so tied of waiting, she wanted to perform! The plane had finally come to an end after what felt like days, only to reasonably be a few hours. So she began to perfect her looks in the window, unseeing her faint reflection as a mirror. Finally she was perfect, another easy grade to pass. One more performance. This was nothing new, just another interview. The feline peeked outside to try and get a feel of what she’s working with only to see nothing but fog and a single runway. /that’s odd./ though she had never ridden on a plane herself she’d seen many in her time in district 1, and the fact there was no terminal no well, anything was very weird, though nothing about the games was ever not unusual wasn’t it. Alas, it wasn’t anything Coco wasn’t used too, with a career choice like her own, you learn how to adapt to new things like this. Once coco was freed from the flying prison, she made sure to smile and walk with a pep in her step. The feline followed the peacemakers leading their group through the strange terrain and endless fog as it transistioned into a sleek and unique filing set!? Though the transition was a bit more impressive than the actual thing, I mean it’s just your average set after all. Glaring stage lights, cameras and crew at every angle, hidden mics, you know the drill. As she looked around at the seemingly innocent area she realized the fog had basically cleared, revealing many strangely shaped buildings around useless shapes with even more unconventional materials, but to top it all off towering above them was one lone tower. Menacing? Yup, but it wasn’t her business, as long as it doesn’t cause her to be in any freak accident like she had seen before she’d be fine. Even though she knew she’d be fine Coco still felt a little un-ease about her outfit, it wasn’t her style and certainly wasn’t comfortable. However she could play it off, and that’s what really matters right? She knew that, however it didn’t make her hate how “cute” she looked any less. Coco snapped out of her thoughts, soon to realize this years proud capital interviewer had been eyeing her, as she approached the realized it was none other then imperiums little rat herself, Cinere. She threw on a grin. “Ah! Yes, cin..ere isn’t it? I’ve heard quite the scoop about you!” She led with, holding out her paw to shake hers. “Mmm good things right!? Ive heard quite the bunch about you myself if I’m not mistaken, Coco from district six correct?” The feline replied, shaking her paw with a returning grin, a poisonous gleam in her eyes. “In the flesh, though I tend to be bit of an.. district hopper myself.” She said, tilting her head at Cinere’s endless gaze. “Interesting! Well I look forward to seeing you shortly.” Cinere mewed, before glazing back over to her set. It was time, her last chance to prove herself, this had to be perfect. “Coco truffle, your up!” God did she hate her name. The feline reluctantly padded onto the set, taking a seat and adjusting her bowtie, she hadn’t had much time to prepare, being called second!? It was annoying but someone had to do it. 3… 2… 1… and we are rolling! Cinere welcomed back the audience and introduced Coco to the crowed behind the screen. It slightly surprised coco how much cinere knew about her right of the bat, but it’s the hunger games it couldn’t be any less expected of them. ………………… “So Coco, Do you have an Motivation to win? If so what is it? Why is it? Give us the scoop darling.” Cinere asked, her hypnotic eyes directed at her. As multiple cameras and mics were adjusted at her as well. “I have to say, probably my job, I love entertaining and being their for you all! Now for real, I must say moving into the capital as an famous actor and winner of the games will help me step in my career, who knows I may even be an interviewer someday.” Coco answered confidently, winking at the audience at the appropriate time for a little cheery on top. “Intriguing! And entrepreneur our we? Well don’t come for my job!” Cinere Chucked briefly before calming the mood once more. ………………… “Next question, what’s your strategy to win the games? What sets you apart from the rest of the tributes.” Cinere continued, barely wasting any time between questions. “Now we’re getting into the good stuff ‘eh?” Coco gestured, now resting her elbow onto the table between the two’s chairs and resting her chin on her paw in a stylish manner. “Well I don’t want to reveal too much too early, I’ll still give you a good scoop! So I’ve trained for this and well, frankly hard work and dedication is the base of all things good, but- you know, you can’t have anything without a little bit of trickery and fun of course!” Coco chuckled, focusing her attention a bit more on the Cameras …………… ;“Now this going well! And I’ve had a fun time, onto the last questions.” Cinere stated, flipping though her note pad with a fake puzzled look. (Cont below)
(Cont above) cameras. “Well that sure is mysterious…. but you have me hooked! Can’t wait to see what kind of ‘fun’ you have in the arena.” Cinere replied, scratching something into her notes before continuing; / at least that reply seamed a bit more genuine then the last one./ Coco noted before the feline got back to the show. “Now remember The deeper the scoop the better folks! Are you enjoying todays?” She asked the camera before whipping her head back towards Coco. “Are you afraid of the arena?” Cinere asked, waiting a response intently. Coco thought for a moment before responding, carousing some slight tension to build in the audience. /weather that’s a good thing or not./ “Ha! No of course not. I don’t fear the Arena because I’m not afraid of de@th, and even if I were that’s basically what this is. Death, when someone gets sent in the arena you don’t expect to see them again, like when someone d!es. And the slim chance they survive they move into the capital anyways.” Coco paused for a moment before adding on; “the odds are not in your favor when the odds are uneven. But that’s just life, unfair.” She finished. Sitting up and placing her paws firmly on her chair, making her presence known to the viewers. “Interesting take on things Coco! I believe that’s all we have for today and all we needed to hear! Anything else before we move on?” “No I don’t believe so! It’s been an honor to have had this experience with you,, Praise to imperium!” Coco exclaimed! Nodding a wave before bowing as she heard Cinere close “her” segment. As she was pulled away by the peacemakers, she could only hope her show was good enough, or at least as good as it felt. ᴄʟᴏꜱɪɴɢ ꜰᴏʀ ᴡ ꜱʜᴏʀᴛ ʙʀᴇᴀᴋ! ʀᴇᴍᴇ~…… Coco was tired, her ears had toned out most of the words being said, except one thing that remained painfully clear. ”Praises to imperium!” ……………………………………………………………… Thanks for reading! I’m tired so I will be adding credits later but overall really proud of this whole project so be sure to hit flag as well! You won’t regret it ;D
