Why are you liking this project??? What are you even doing on this old simulator??? Check out my Windows XP simulator, it's, like, a thousand times better than this. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/566935504/ ====== Welcome to the year 1995, a year when Windows 95 launched on August 24. Do you miss it? If you do, check out this game! This will take you back to the era of CRT monitors. And of course, Windows 95. This game is a simulator of Microsoft Windows 95. It was uploaded to Scratch originally with the intention of suggesting this to be added to the latest Scratch Design Studio. But this is not only made for the Scratch Design Studio. ================= List of cool facts: - Absolutely EVERY asset used in here is ripped from a Windows 95 virtual machine. - You can drag the windows around (not Windows 95, program windows :)) - Every sound effect used in here is ripped from a Windows 95 virtual machine as well. - When the virtual PC shuts down, you will get the classic "It is now safe to turn off your computer." screen. Nostalgic, isn't it, huh? ================ List of things you can do here (at this time): - Open My Computer and Local Disk (C:) (you can't delete the Windows folder ;))) - Open Network Neighborhood - Open the Inbox (you can now configure it as of 1.0.2!) - Open The Internet (which is Internet Explorer 3) and view the Scratch home page. - Open Recycle Bin - Open the Online Services folder - Play Pong (yes) - Interact with the Cat Assistant - Shut down your virtual PC. ============= I will update this project over time. Updates add new apps, new options, new games etc. ============== You can reuse assets from this project in your project. If you do that, just please add this text in the "Notes and Credits" section: ============== <asset name> (don't write this if you reused a lot of assets, then just type "Assets".)
