Need some advice and tips? I have some up my sleeve! Shifts: They're difficult to manage, like teeth shifts. Teeth shifts are an impulse to chew or bite on something...sometimes even someone. Phantom shifts are also a problem, where you feel like you have a tail or ears or fur, sometimes even a snout! How do you handle it and try to hold it back so that kids don't tease or bully you? If you feel like you're having a shift, try to distract yourself with a fidget or try to concentrate on something. Just a warning, however; you will be teased. You do no have to do this and it may be best for you not to, but if you're feeling brave and you want to, knock yourself out! I admire your courage. Gear: Be sure to check with the school dress code first, because in some schools gear is classified as a "costume" and is prohibited from common wearing at school.
