Made this because the original project is inaccurate and outdated. What has been fixed: 1. Windows 2000 Beta 3's startup and shutdown sounds. Someone obviously put music there to trick us. It used the so-called Millennium sounds. 2. Windows Millennium and Whistler startup and shutdown sounds. Windows Millennium used 98 sounds until RTM release, and Whistler used Me/2000 sounds, so it has been added there. Besides, the original project used Windows 2000 Beta 3 sounds instead. 3. Removed the so-called UK startup for Windows Server 2003. All versions of Server 2003 used XP Sounds, and it wouldn't make sense to use a different sound for just one country. Besides, the sound was just ripped off from a commercial anyways. 4. Fixed Windows NT 5.0's shutdown sound. The sound you hear in the original project is just a sped-up part of the song. NT 5.0 used NT 4.0's shutdown. The startup sound comes from Beta 1 of NT 5.0 and is correct. 5. Put the Longhorn startup and shutdown sounds into the fake sounds. Windows Longhorn used XP sounds; 6. Windows 2000 Beta 1 would be NT 5.0, and Beta 3 already has Builds. To fix this issue, I replaced the text boxes with this: Windows 2000 Beta 3 Builds XXXX-XXXX 7. NT 4.0 and NT 5.0 both share the same shutdown sound, so I did a little adjusting.
@crensyhanilas for the original project, and Microsoft for Windows.
