“No, stop!” A golden furred tom raced out. His claws were unsheathed and were ready to produce as much damage as he needed to ward off this intruder. “And you think you’re the best a leader can be?” The other cat, long and jagged, scoffed. The stranger was holding onto a cat, around the age of an apprentice. The tom looked into the eyes of the young cat. Fear streaking into his eyes. “You wouldn’t.” He growled at the jagged cat. The apprentice wimpered as her body was underneath the full grown cat. "H-help me." She whispered, quietly under her breath. Her voice was cracking and chocked. "Emberstar..." She mumbled. The intruder meowed. "Oh, how... cute." He said. "This tiny cat thinks you can help her." His claws were now unsheathed and the little cat wimpered. The intruders claws dug into the neck of the helpless cat. Blood oozed out. And then, the apprintice went limp. "That should tell you that you should've never exiled me into being a rouge." The intruder left the body on the ground. His claws were long and stained red. Emberstar heaved himself up and snarled. "This isn't over yet, Raggedear. I always knew you were trouble. I will avenge your death, Eaglewing, and of course yours as well, the littlest apprentice, Frostpaw." The tabby cats fur was ruffled by the wind as the sky was stained red.
