I woulda let at least some of it slide, but France made me want to pull my eyes out so I ain't in the mood. Anyway here's the probably unreasonable reason we shot them all down: we have anti air missile systems capable of doing that, a space force, and an air force. They wouldn't get through undetected, so they were shot.
