(why did I put so much effort trying to decide how to draw Astro, he's literally just a cartoon robot-) Character: Astro Bot (he/him?, Playstation brand) (also some other guys but no further context :]) Song: GUMI - QUEEN【Kanaria】 Coding: @--ColdCofi-- Art: @Echoa_badger as you can LITERALLY tell from the title, since this is basically filler I'll just be saying random stuff I can think of lol (tho it is kinda related to the meme itself) for context, since around like September I had this fixation on relatively obscure game from 2012 called Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. basically Smash Bros but with Playstation mascots and/or characters from games commonly associated with Playstation (and also rlly outdated and unbalanced), but there are some ppl out there who want a sequel either despite or because of those reasons and GUESS WHAT?? I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE!! :D anyway I kinda made an AU of sorts with basically the same premise of the og (a bunch of Playstation characters gather together for a tournament hosted by former advertising mascot Polygon Man) except its like an ACTUAL battle royale and also like significantly more edgy (even the silly goobers get war trauma!! :DDD) Astro here is like the former ruler(?) of the island/region/dimension/whatever where it mostly takes place who was overthrown by Polygon Man and somehow trapped inside a nearby temple?? (havent thought of an explanation for that yet tbh) tho he does manage to break free due happening in said temple at some point during the tourney and travels alongside either one of them to take back his position, also may or may not join a rebellion against Polygon Man :) (yea.. it's probably a lot to digest, I spent WAY too much time thinking about this yet barely expanded it further besides maybe like a few writing/drawing sessions lol) on an (sorta) completely unrelated note, there's this webcomic developed by Wooden Plank Studios (off-site, idk where they exactly post but I keep track of them thru a dubbing channel on YT) involving the Smash Bros + some other gaming icons, recently they've started an arc where basically ALL characters (or at least the ones that count I guess lol) are placed on. I'm mostly just putting this here bcuz I'm honestly a sucker for crossover stories (especially during like apocalyptic situations and/or where they're basically beating each other to the death) but also... a bunch of beloved video game characters are forced on some random island by a god-like being and forced to fight to the death for some kind of "glory"??? where have I heard that before... O MY GOD THEY COPIED MY PSASBR AU IM SUING- /j ok anyway uh- go check it out on YT or smth if you're interested I guess, just note there's some profanity in it (and also maybe violence and some other stuff idk) anyway the in-between scenes are so cringe and im tired so please- (/nm)
