The commies have the same tech as other celeste nations, so i think itll be smaller by a bit, anyways the UGSSR starts to try and send troops to capture corilissan troops while they try to bribe some of your own troops, jets and armored divisions to join the communists' side while fighters are sent to the Commune and the Imperium respectfully while the UGSSR uses their own over yours, the massive tech advantage over your own jets would have them gain an edge in combat on the ground and the sky, commies still continue their push into your captured territory
never challenge a civilization using tech of the USG which has some tech from radiant in it
