Starlight was inside of her lounging area, reading a book of some kind. She looked obviously bored from her mind as she kept her eyes on the book to read on. After a couple of minutes had passed, Sundown Shadow came into the room and approached her. "Starlight, you have an important visitor that is awaiting you downstairs in the throne room." "Oh, thank you, Father. I may as well not let them keep on waiting for me." Before Starlight could leave, Sundown Shadow took off his mouth mask and gave her a forehead kiss to show some affection. It did make sense, of course. He couldn't let his daughter go without a small piece of fatherly love from him. Starlight smiled gratefully at Sundown Shadow before walking away and heading back downstairs to the throne room. As soon as she opened the doors, she noticed that Nova X was in the room, talking to Oliver and Imposter Shadow. Though, what caught her attention was that her old childhood friend, Chancellor, was also in the room. Starlight instantly went up to him and hugged him. "Chancellor! It's been a while! Where have you been?!" she exclaimed in joy. Chancellor felt Starlight's weight on him, almost making him fall a bit but he managed to stay straight. "I have just been busy lately with my parents, and I even got you something." Chancellor spoke as he gave her a present that was in glittery wrapping. Starlight took the gift and opened it. Suddenly, there was a Chao that came out of the box, it even looked familiar to her. As the Chao hugged Starlight on the neck, she realized that this Chao was her old pet that she had when she was much younger. "Moonie!" Starlight exclaimed again as she hugged the Chao back. Chancellor seemed to crack a tiny smile once he saw how happy Starlight was. It made him blush clearly, but it wasn't enough to make her notice. Chancellor cleared his throat, handing Starlight a little envelope. She became curious about the letter, taking it and letting Moonie fly around her. Though, Moonie's attention was turned to Chancellor's own Chao, who was named Locke. The two Chaos began to play with each other, though Locke was trying hard to not socialize too much around Moonie since it was Chancellor's own personality that was dwelled into Locke. Meanwhile, Starlight was reading the letter and she was shocked. Chancellor had a feeling that she would be obviously surprised, the letter was a confession about his feelings for her. But, he couldn't help but blush in embarrassment for how stupid he may seem to Starlight. Though, it all changed once Starlight gave a kiss on Chancellor's cheek. The gesture almost made him faint, however he caught himself and focused. He couldn't let his nervousness ruin this moment for himself and Starlight. Starlight hugged Chancellor softly, holding him tightly. He did the same as he gave her a kiss on the top of her head. After minutes of silence, the two noticed that they weren't alone during the entire confession. "I knew you would get yourself a boy, dear. It was all just a simple waiting game." There, in front of them was Nova X. Along with Sundown Shadow, Oliver and Imposter Shadow. Nova X had a proud smile, Sundown Shadow looked a little shocked, Oliver was excited and Imposter Shadow was calm but smiling a bit. Chancellor and Starlight couldn't believe that both of their parents were here now, seeming to have been watching them confess to each other. Though, for the rest of the day, the two families accepted that Starlight and Chancellor, friends from their very beginning, now are officially a couple.
I know I did mention before that Sundown Shadow and Nova X are not a couple anymore, but they still stay together to take care of Starlight cuz they care about her very much. AND YES, IMPOSTER SHADOW IS GOING TO BE IN THIS STORY OFFICIALLY!!! Imposter Shadow is an OC made by: @ShadowRobotnikULF
