for real, though. blue flames is considered horrible because the main character(voiced by none other than kenyu horiuchi) is an irredeemable monster, and not once does he get punished for his actions. in short: blue flames should be avoided at all costs, even by non-anime fans. poor kenyu didn't deserve to have his talent wasted on such a terrible OVA.
