Starlight is now officially the new Queen, though she was confused on how to take in the idea of being a Queen, she managed to figure out how to start building it freshly and help the inhabitants of the kingdom. Firstly, she wanted to help an individual from easiest to most challenging. Starlight saw Oliver being the most understanding person out of all of the rest. One thing she noticed about him was that he had always been suspected as being once a 'Sonic' from another universe and somehow managed to escape that universe and be in this one. Even the way he does act around that topic makes him very anxiously suspicious. Starlight knew that she must put him to the test and find out who he was before he became an all-known cutie and sweetheart to those around him. "Hey Oli! Do you mind if you talk to me for a few moments?" Starlight asked, softly gesturing Oliver to follow her. Oliver nodded and smiled at her, seeming to be quiet today, which is unusual to see from her point of view. Then, Oliver and Starlight headed into a private room that had a mirror that was covered by a soft sheet. Starlight revealed to Oliver that this mirror was what she needed of him. "Oliver, please take my hand and just follow my lead, okay?" "A-Alright, Your Majesty, whatever you need me to do..." Oliver responded nervously. Starlight and Oliver stepped into the mirror, transporting into a whole new place. As the mist cleared, Oliver realized that he was traveling into his past. Once he noticed the monotone world, he felt a heavy wave of mad fear. It made him uneasy to the core. Starlight could feel his emotions, clearly looking concerned for him. "Oliver, what's the matter?" Starlight held onto Oliver's hand tighter, comforting him. Oliver shook his head and breathed in and out to wash off the anxiety. "It's nothing, Your Majesty...just...just take me wherever you think I should be..." he assured Starlight. She nodded and guided him to a small house. Inside, there was all sorts of happy laughter that could be heard. Through the glass window, Starlight and Oliver could see who Oliver was from the past. He obviously looked so much like Sonic, and he was him, being with his own Tails counterpart named 'Myles' and his Knuckles counterpart named 'Andrew'. He had that grin that everyone loved seeing on his face and the voice that everyone recognized. From that point, Starlight wondered what happened to Oliver that made him go from Sonic, the famous confident hero to Oliver, the soft sweetheart that mostly everyone pushes aside. Starlight again guided Oliver to another memory of his past. There he was, firstly encountering his own Shadow counterpart named 'Shane'. This moment made Oliver's eyes form tears. Starlight knew that seeing these old memories would be hard for him, but she had to figure out why he became so different. It seemed that as time went on, Shane and Oliver got better from each other, getting into a relationship even. Though, Starlight saw that Oliver changed himself for Shane to make himself much better since he somehow noticed that Shane was starting to go away from him. Starlight began to feel terrible for Oliver, knowing that he was going for many miles to make sure that his old boyfriend would be happy with him. Yet, Shane passed away alone days after Oliver changed himself for him. Oliver felt like crying, and his eyes were shedding tears but he wasn't crying so badly. Starlight glanced over at him, then hugged him for she felt his pain. Starlight even witnessed the memory where Oliver was shot by $han3.CODE, who was an unknown EXE who took over Shane's dead body to make Oliver feel horror for the first time in his life. That memory scared Oliver the most. But he was lucky that a couple of hours after he was shot in the forehead, he was resurrected by Nova X. And from the past to now, Oliver stayed within the group Nova X grew on her own. After seeing all of the painful memories Oliver had, the two headed back into the present. Starlight felt that Oliver should have to be himself from this point and on. "Oli, you should always be yourself, no matter who you are with. I'm very sure that someone may have told you this but-" "That doesn't matter now, Starlight...I already know how to be myself, but I still will get criticized for once being a Sonic who got himself killed by a maniacal and possessed Ultimate Lifeform and later got brought back to life by a magically scary lady..." Oliver snapped a bit at Starlight then walked off in mid-tears. Though, Oliver soon learned that he should always take his personality to his advantage, use it for making new friends and fix wrongs he committed before. He just wished that his past was not as traumatizing and unbearable to the point it made him have horrible anxiety and why it made him be soft instead of confident, like what Sonic was.
