IN canon this weapon is one of the few things that can kill a giant spider native to dreamland. Making it very powerful also makes the spiders more of a threat. There are going to be 2 other new weapons for season 2 that can kill spiders. Be prepared for S2 E4, S2 E5, S2 E6, S2 E7, and S2 E8.
