This is Tower 1, the Very First and Constantly Updated Tower. This is the 1960s Otis Elevator That Serves Two Floors. _________________________________________ Lift Project Series: PREVIOUS LIFT: LP:3 Westinghouse (Active)(1.13): https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/979789707/ (march 15 2024) NEXT LIFT: LP:5 Mitsubishi (Active)3.034: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1017834050/editor/ (june 29 2024) _________________________________________ Ground and Basement it has been derelict for a long time. but recently the only elevator that serves the Basement Got Taken out of Service, Before Being Put back into Service the Cab was Modernized, so This Lift is Up and Running in the meantime... The Stop Button No Longer Works. (it works again as of 2025) and the old arrow indicator from the smaller panel has been disabled in favor of the new arrow indicator apart of the elevator. UPDATE (May 13 2024) : this is it, they decided to keep this running, even though the only elevator that served the basement floor got back into service. this elevator was kept derelict for a long time. but now its operational again. The Elevator is Original apart from the Cab and Indicator. Which has been modernized to the more modern look. The Indicator was Replaced With a Big Circular Analogue Indicator(idk what to call it) which has the big arrow indicators. as well as a minor addition to be able to cancel Car Panel Calls(COP Calls) currently the only lift that got through development hell. (Change My Mind The Mitsubishi Already took Almost a Whole month to develop. and again as LP:6 and LP:7 did take long enough. looks like this signaled a burnout from making lifts from scratch and that other platform (you know which platform if you been looking at my pfp for a while))
you may be wondering. WHY IS THERE A ORANGE HUE? well This elevator has a very strong orange hue. as this elevator. used a very orange Hue to provoke a feeling of comfort. every elevator in Tower 1, Tower 2 and Newer Towers (2020+) Have This Hue in Every Elevator. yes the elevator is buggy. SOUNDS : DieselDucy - elevator Motor mrmattandmrchay - button Sounds INSPIRATION : mrmattandmrchay - initial fixture idea some random google image (UNIDENTIFIED) - Final fixture idea This Elevator has Been Siting Abandoned in my Stuffs Page. Unshared and abandoned, Originally Planned as a STAH Elevator, However I Never Finished it. When i Looked at The Project Again + its new intro. it Gave Me Hope to Finish It. But As an Old OTIS from 1960. With The Lack of Motivation Kicking in. Nevertheless, i Still completed it Anyways. and here it is uploaded to my account. seen as a gold brick to me. because i managed to finish it all. FLOORS: B, G, G2 NOTE : The stop button is very buggy, so if the lift refuses to work afterwards, reset the project.
