March 4, 2025. Scratch Airways Flight 4120 was a scheduled Flight From Landon Smalls Airport to Heathrow. There were 59 People on Board Flight 4120. While taking off, The Yak-42 operating the Flight Collided on the runway with XJet Flight 19, A CRJ-100 Registered C-AFKW. The Collision sheered off the roof of the CRJ, Broke the Gear of the Yak-42 and made one engine of the Yak-42 fly off. The Plane then Skidded off the runway into a luggage Hangar, Killing 57 people on board the Yak-42, 19 people in the CRJ, and 5 people in the Hangar Leading to a total of 81 Deaths. The Captain and first officer of the CRJ Survived along with a young Couple on the Yak-42. The cause was revealed to be improper Maintenance on the Yak-42 and Pilot error from the CRJ. Scratch Airways’s Reputation was already tainted and this accident was the final Straw. In the End, 2 weeks later, Scratch Airways’ operating license was revoked Permanently, while XJet still operates to this day.
