Guysssssssssssssss... So my 'friends' of like 1 year(maybe more but idc) were pretending to be my friends all along. They never really wanted to be friends in the first place, but all of the sudden they caved in(1st red flag!!!). We did have our ups and downs, but overall seemed like great friends. They would do little things that I didn't like, such as hanging out together(all 3 of them) without me(THEY DID THIS SO MUCH). I didn't really mind it because though it did seem exclusive towards me I thought they were still loyal. Because I thought they were loyal and I was so grateful to have friends,(i had like no friends during elementary school)I was buying them things for their birthdays, Christmas presents, and hanging out with them. Little did I know, they were using me. You see, lately I've been starting to suspect I'm bi, and the more I think about it the more I think I am. Well, I've also been frustrated lately with myself because I think I am somewhat attracted to these 'friends' and I knew that's not cool at all. Well, yesterday,(March 9th) I made the mistake of telling one of my friends "I feel like we're both hiding something from each other," and after that it went downhill. I didn't want to tell her bc I knew it wouldn't end up well, but, I did warn her a lot that it might cross some friendship boundaries. Unfortunately, I did end up caving in due to peer pressure(a weakness of mine). Soon after I told my friend, I could tell she was tripping, but didn't pay any attention. I did tell her not to tell my other friends though. Well, the next day, I get on the group chat and I wait for one of my friends, and when she gets on there she starts asking me what my secret is(the previous night i let her know i had a secret -_-). I didn't tell her bc I knew this friend was the kind of friend who would break up with you in seconds depending on what you say/do. I find out my other 2 'friends' are at her house and the friend I told my secret to told the friend who I didn't want my secret to get to. She acted like it was a joke while the friend who I didn't want to know made it clear that she wasn't going to talk to me and she didn't want to be friends with me much longer anyways. I put the pieces together then cried my heart out when i realized. But the true question is, AITA or are they? And should I talk to them in person to see if I'm misunderstanding something, or should I steer clear?
